L’influenza del cambiamento climatico-ambientale

In un momento di estrema precarietà sociale che vive l’intera comunità mondiale, l’unico antidoto alla speranza di un futuro, benché diverso da quello recentemente vissuto, è di fare appello all’unità d’intenti e al rapido abbattimento delle barriere sociali che hanno nel tempo impoverito il cittadino del mondo.
Siamo chiamati, perciò, a contribuire con il nostro sapere senza limiti di sorta.
E’ per questo che, consapevolmente, per non correre il rischio di formulare metodi senza conoscere il reale scenario che si presenterà all’indomani dall’uscita dal tunnel del COVID 19, speriamo quanto prima, che ci limitiamo a rendere fruibile la nostra storia sindacale e confederale di prestatori di opere intellettuali a vantaggio della collettività.
“Mi sia consentito – cosi dichiara il Presidente del Singeop, Guglielmo Emanuele – di fare riferimento ad uno scienziato che ha notevolmente contribuito alla crescita per la sensibilità alla cura dell’ambiente. Mi riferisco all’amico e collega prof. Franco Ortolani, già docente presso la Facoltà di Scienza geologiche della Università Federico II di Napoli e componente, fino alla sua recente scomparsa, della Commissione Ambiente del Senato della Repubblica Italiana. Rapporto accademico qualificato per noi Geologi, e non solo, per la conoscenza degli effetti sul cambiamento climatico. Esordiva dicendo : non ci facciamo <abbagliare dal sole> ma nemmeno dal <millantato credito> dell’onnipotenza umana, così dichiarava il 30 luglio 2015. Noi, quindi, ancor più che convinti di dover accogliere l’appello che oggi il Papa Francesco rivolge alla Comunità auspicando che l’Europa sappia trovare l’unità per conseguire fattivamente, altresì, l’obiettivo di Franco Ortolani. Il Direttivo del nostro sindacato si appresterà, quindi, a programmare, organizzare seminari ed attuare tale proposito a breve, medio e lungo termine”. Così conclude Guglielmo Emanuele nella certezza di trovare nella CONFPROFESSIONI, alla quale il SINGEOP è aderente, la massima collaborazione possibile.

In a very delicate moment for social stability that involves the world community as a whole, the only hope for a sustainable future is to work together and get rid of all social barriers that have impoverished all the citizens of the world.
We are called to give our contribution tirelessly, using our knowledge with no limits.
That is why we are now providing you with our history as a Union working for the community through intellectual projects and services, so that we will be able to propose methods and solutions once this unprecedented situation due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 will be over.
Guglielmo Emanuele, President of the Singeop, declares: “I would like to mention a scientist who made a remarkable contribution in order to develop the awareness of the environment and the importance of taking care of it. I am referring to my colleague and friend Franco Ortolani, who was Professor at the Faculty of Geological Sciences based at the University of Naples Federico II and also a member of the Committee for the Environment of the Senate of Italian Republic. Professor Ortolani was a reference point for us as Geologists due to his knowledge of climate change and its effects on modern society. He used to say:” Do not get blinded by the belief that human species is all-powerful”. It was the 30th July 2015. We are very determined to join the appeal that Pope Francis is addressing to all Communities wishing that Europe will find the unity needed to overcome this crisis, so that we will be able to accomplish the main goal of Franco Ortolani.”
Gugliemo Emanuele concludes: “The executive panel of our union is going to arrange and organise short, medium and long term seminars. We are sure that CONFPROFESSIONI, whose SINGEOP is part of, will provide us with the maximum support needed.”
